Another brilliant Sheffield Pancreatic Cancer Research Network meeting.
We heard two fantastic researchers working at the cutting edge of PC. Samrein Ahmed (SHU) shared mechanistic insights into RLIP76, and Helen Matthews (UoS) explored adhesion-dependent resistance to KRAS inhibition.
On World Pancreatic Cancer Day, the Sheffield Pancreatic Cancer Interest Network hosted a successful bake sale to raise funds and awareness for PCUK.
Thank you to all who participated and supported our efforts.

We discuss how Ras proteins coordinate local and global changes to the actin cytoskeleton and contribute to cytoskeletal plasticity in cancer.
Great talks by PhD students @isabelladavis00.bsky.social and Meg at the Sheffield Pancreatic Cancer Research Network meeting 👏
What happens to packed cells in a monolayer during mitosis? @rlawson954.bsky.social presented varying experiments investigating shape and force changes, cell-cell junctions, and mechanics in mitotic cells, suggesting important roles for keratin and desmosomes #MBIMPG2025 @helenkmatthews.bsky.social
