📸 Nearly 200 people were rescued from a crowded fishing boat near Crete by Greek coast guards on Tuesday.
They set off from Libya, roughly 300 kilometers away.
Some 6,900 migrants have landed on Crete so far in 2026, according to UNHCR, mostly from eastern Libya.
