This is unfortunately true with the writing and people not being able to understand what a draft is either. I had one CD who literally could not conceive of what a draft represented and insisted on polished, shippable dialogue for everything even before quest objectived were designed.

Even outside gamedev, I've run into people not being able to understand storyboards. And now that they know about gen AI, they want to see more finished-looking boards when scripts aren't even done
