Visiting DC and not happy about all the National Guard just hanging out all over town - and then I learned that these theatrics are costing the public $1m a day. Especially at a time when so many families are struggling, this is a moral failure on an epic scale.
Yes! Thanks for reviewing our new @theprotestbook.bsky.social and reminding readers that freedoms don’t inevitably arrive on their own. Protestors helped secure our freedoms and now we need to band together to secure the right to protest - a hallmark of a true democracy!
