Before 'Not E3' kicked off, Purslow and I visited Creative Assembly with the opportunity of being the first two people outside of the studio to play Alien: Isolation 2!
As standard, we've got a Hands-On Preview, plus an interview with Isolation's Creative Director... Enjoy 👇
Never forget.
Swordplay was the best Wii Sports Resort game, and I'm PISSED they haven't brought it back...
People are bringing up a nearly 12-year-old review and worrying about why we were invited.
In reality? We visited CA, shook hands with the creative director, and heard him say how genuinely excited he was to finally have people checking out his team's work...
I dunno, that seems more important???
Searching for recommendations for indie horror games released this year, and all I'm coming across are lists on websites with the likes of Outlast, Amnesia The Dark Descent, Darkwood, etc...
I know it's all about the SEO numbers game, but, dawg, I just want to discover some new games.
All the mid forty year old Nintendo fans after seeing Ocarina of Time getting remade again:
Finally, a game for someone who grew up with a Spanish grandmother 🙏
So, Xbox are nonchalantly killing studios, while the partnership between Microsoft and Nvidia will continue to fuck hardware prices over for years to come, all while AI is being shoved in everyone's faces because old people love it?
That's all depressing, but at least Xbox is now XBOX. So cool!

BREAKING: Several Xbox studios, including Compulsion, Ninja Theory and Double Fine, are negotiating with Xbox as they try to avoid closure. Some or all could spin off.
Lots still in flux as many studios remain unsure about what's happening.
Here's the latest: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
I've been at IGN for nearly eight years, and I'm at my happiest whenever I've had the chance to have a genuine conversation with the people who make the games we love.
There's so much talent and stories to be heard, but all of that joy is replaced with nothingness because of choices like this.
The studios, which include Compulsion Games and Double Fine, are in active negotiations with Xbox and may be given the chance to go independent.
