"The Queen Is Dead", the third studio album by #TheSmiths, is forty years old today. Metacritic found the deluxe version received a rating of 99 out of 100 based on eleven critic reviews, indicating "universal acclaim". In 2013 the #NME declared it the greatest album of all time.
