Highly recommended, one of my favourite reads of recent years: structurally and narratively adventurous, written with passion and creative daring, a thrilling wallow (complimentary) in the psyche of a truly unpleasant human being. A great novel.

Quite taken here with how the original voice cast of The Flintstones - if you squint - look a little like middle-aged real life versions of their cartoon counterparts, all except Mel Blanc, who is no Barney Rubble however you shake it (no shade on Blanc inferred)

This book has been out four years now - I sent six copies out to authors at the time - not one ever read it. It's been available for 99p on the kindle since it came out - last years royalties were around £20. Even though it's had 56 reviews on Goodreads, it just died a death.
