The logistics required to get them signed by all three of us were more complicated than you'd think, and required the use of at least two go-betweens, but we got there in the end. Hope you appreciate it!

All of which nicely filled the time until the music started.
Teenage son, naturally, rolled his eyes. But then started looking thoughtful. And thus began a beautiful conversation about how we would define an appropriate coordinate system, where the origin would be, where the axes would be, and what units we would use.
The venue was all standing space, and when we got there my husband asked where our seats were (yes, he is hilarious). I told him that we'd been given coordinates of where to stand (yes, I am also hilarious).
A story about coordinate systems, teenagers, and comedian parents:
I went to see the London Symphonic Rock Orchestra with my 14 year old at the weekend. (They were incredible. If you have the opportunity to see them, you should go.)
