I've spent months rethinking and rebuilding my programming languages course from scratch for the agentic coding era. I wrote myself a memo explaining what I'm doing. I figure others might be interested in the redesign, so here goes! Feedback welcome of course. docs.google.com/document/d/e...
I often fly Southwest and am reminded of their p2p topology (rather than hub and spoke). More direct flights, but less resilient to delays/cancellations
Reminded today that this paper exists: arxiv.org/pdf/1804.02767
All this back-to-back travel is dizzying but I'm looking forward to being in Providence next weekend for a puzzle retreat!
Paper that mentions the p2p topology in contrast with other airlines arxiv.org/html/2606.00...

I missed a flight for the first time in many years (I’m actually not sure I’ve missed a flight when traveling on my own before? I fly a lot and have been extremely lucky). Due to a series of unfortunate events.
Keynote this morning is on quantum computing broadly.
I’ve seen multiple posts in my LinkedIn feed about how some oral presenters at CVPR are receiving pre-arranged questions and reading off a script to answer them. I haven’t been paying close enough attention (yet) to Q&A to confirm, but if so, then yikes. 😬
