It’s the last few days of ‘Celebrating Local Scientific Endeavour’ in the Hartley Library’s Level 4 Gallery. Former Hartley Institution student, F.W. Lanchester, received its medal for success in science in 1885, later becoming a pioneering automotive and aeronautical engineer.
