Visited my elderly aunt in hospital today. Called my uncle to say I was visiting, he said her memory had got even worse and she wouldn't remember me. Found her ward and she was asleep, held her hand and she woke up not knowing where she was but she called me by my name.

Had a really heavy downpour here a couple hours ago, been sunny since. Just stepped outside and stood on the doormat...with socks on.

Just this morning on the way to spoons, I popped into the corner shop to buy a copy of the express and the illegal immigrant behind the till looked at me funny, blatant racism.
It's really pissing me off. I can hear him from my garden but the blatant disregard for the old guy and the devaluation of his house, if he managed to find a buyer who would be happy with people sat on a flat roof right on their back fence overlooking the entire house and garden:-(
A neighbour nearby has built a "shed" in his garden and has taken to sitting on it every afternoon talking loudly either on his phone or with friends he's invited around. The guy most effected who's garden he now looks directly over is very old had cancer andgoing blind. He's too tired to complain.

For a period of a couple of years during the 2010s I was employed regularly by cattle to shoot the covers for the albums they had recorded. It was always wonderfully inspiring to witness the love, hard work and passion they had put into their music and I think that comes through in the photos.
