Paris rainbow with pigeon!
Amazing that there are only 20 known paintings by Leonardo da Vinci and five of them hang here in the Louvre - if you didn’t know you could just walk past them! (Mona Lisa hangs in a separate gallery…)
Visited the Louvre in Paris. Something is definitely amiss here! 😹
Why is the Mona Lisa smiling? I think it must be because she eternally stares at this cat in the painting across the gallery!
Anonymous photo from 1970 of a bocce ball game, and a photo I took 50 years later of a bocce ball game in Paris.
Went to the Theatre Champs Élysées with my Paris friend J. to hear Russian piano protege Alexandra Dovgan perform. This theater is renown as it is where Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring debuted in 1913, starting a riot. There was no riot tonight just great music by Mozart, Chopin, Franck, and Prokofiev!
The real new mayor of Paris, watching over the city! 😹
