Inflation crossed 4% in May for the first time in 3 years. It's up from 2.4% in February before the war with Iran.
Americans are paying more for gas, groceries, housing, and basic necessities and Trump and Republicans are letting it happen.
Prices are up for gas, groceries, health care, & housing - and families are hurting. But instead of addressing this cost-of-living crisis, Republicans are choosing to dump $70 billion more for ICE & Trump's immigration agencies without enforcing any basic standards & accountability. It's shameful.
I will continue to push for legislation like my Foster Youth Postsecondary Education Access and Success Act and my Increasing Access to Foster Care Through Age 21 Act so all youth have the support needed to thrive.
