It was awkward but not unexpected, Emet-Selch made it very clear he doesn't view the current races as people. Ancients talking to him like a familiar was tiring.

another thing that really gets me about elpis is that if you're playing a miqo'te, au ra, hrothgar, or viera, meteion is the first person you meet in the ancient unsundered past who looks anything like you. and then you learn exactly what the ancients think of her.
